Renee Romberger is Vice President of Community Health Policy and Strategy at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System. She is a 1981 Cum Laude graduate of the College of Charleston with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Fine Arts, and was a member of Delta Delta Delta sorority and a student athlete (cheerleader). Mrs. Romberger holds a Master in Health Sciences degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. She is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and currently on the Board of Directors for the SC ACHE Chapter. Mrs. Romberger is a past member of the College of Charleston Foundation Board and Alumni Association Board, and a previous president of the Alumni Upstate Chapter. Her additional professional and community involvement includes the Board of Directors of American Hospital Association’s Association for Community Health Improvement, Welvista, the United Way of the Piedmont, and Access Health Spartanburg, and past president of the Spartanburg Area Conservancy Board of Trustees. Originally from St. Matthews, S.C., Mrs. Romberger resides in Greenville, S.C., with her husband Randy; they have three children and four grandchildren.
